Thank you to the Hurricane Helene Community Crisis Fund

Thanks to the generous grant from the Hurricane Helene Community Crisis Fund at the Community Foundation for the CSRA. We will be able to continue the cleanup needed to remove the remaining damaged trees and rebuild the puppet house that was destroyed by the hurricane.

Would you like to help us with this project to build back the path? This will allow us once again to have outdoor performances. Updates on the progress will be available here so check back regularly on our progress.

Thank you to each one who has supported this theatre with your gifts.

The Puppet Cottage Has Arrived

We’ve been waiting quite awhile for this. Our little outdoor puppet stage was destroyed during hurricane Helene. But now, with the Hurricane Relief Grant, that we received in July of 2025, we have a new and improved “Puppet Cottage”. Oakland Structures, out of Waynesboro, took our drawings and built this one, SPECIAL, for us. We put it right next to our Concessions House. We can’t wait for you to come and see a Puppet Show in the Spring!

This project has been supported by the Community Grants Program, from the Community Foundation for the CSRA.”
